Additional plates need to be installed on the arch. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 15Jul2006 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
The following 545C Wheel Skidders only require items one and two from
the rework because their configuration includes a winch: 54500302,
304, 306, 308-313, 316-320. The following 545C Wheel Skidders require
the complete rework because their configuration does not include a
winch: 54500300, 301, 303, 305, 307, 314.
1. Fabricate three plates using Images 1.3.2 and 1.3.3.
2. ASTM A572 Grade 50 material is required.
3. Locate and weld in plates using Image 1.3.1.
4. Install the pin, cotter, bolt, and washer.
5. Torque the M12 (100+/-20Nm)(74lbft+/-15).
6. All dimensions are in millimeters.
