Ashtray - Pull the ashtray open to use. Shut it when not in use. Lighter - Push the lighter in and release. The lighter will pop out when ready for use. Cab Light (If Equipped) - The cab light is located in the cab ceiling above the cab entrance on the left side of the machine.The light is individually operated by the switch in the cab light cover. Right Cab Door - The cab door on the right side serves as an emergency exit. It can be opened from the inside only. Release the latch and open the door. The door can be secured in two partially open positions and the fully open position with a lock pin.To release the right cab door from a partially open position, push down on the clip (1) and pull down the lock pin (2). To release the right cab door from the fully open position, push the release button (3).This will eliminate cab pressurization. The coat hook is located on the rear post on the left side of the cab (if equipped). The literature compartment is in the back of the seat backrest. A storage compartment is under the left control console.Positioning Seat
Static Seat
Push the seat adjusting lever to the LEFT (towards the center of the machine). Slide the seat forward or back to the desired position. Release the lever to lock the seat.Suspension Seat
1. Raise the backrest (1) UP and move it to the desired position. Lower it to lock it into position.2. Push DOWN on the seat height level lever (2) to release the lock. Press the seat to the desired height. Release the lever to lock the seat. 3. Pull UP the fore-aft lever (3). Slide the seat forward or back to the desired position. Release the lever to lock the seat. 4. Pull UP the seat angle lever (4). Adjust the seat cushion to the desired angle. Release the lever to lock the seat cushion. 5. Turn the knob (5) clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the stiffness of the suspension until the yellow rod in the indicator (6) is just visible. 6. Always check the condition of the seat belt and mounting hardware before operating the machine.Always wear the seat belt when operating the machine.Adjust the seat at the beginning of each shift or when operators change.Replace the seat belt at least once every three years, regardless of appearance. A date label, to determine the age of the belt, is sewn onto each belt.
Inspect for worn or frayed webbing.Check for worn or damaged buckle or anticreep slide on each half of the belt. Replace the belt, buckle or slides if they are worn or damaged. Inspect the belt mounting hardware. Replace any damaged or worn hardware. Keep the mounting bolts tight. If the bolt and nut that holds the two parts of the seat belt mounting hooks together are not
