--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: Eight additional mold gates have been added to the pivot shaft seal. The added mold gates allow the rubber to remain at an elevated temperature during the pouring process so that the rubber adheres to the steel outer band better. The added adherence of the rubber to will add additional life to the seal. Adaptable To: The improved 8T-0208 Seal is effective with the D9N (6XJ1129), the D9R (7TL442), and the D10N (3SK880) Track-Type Tractor. The improved 8T-0208 Seal is adaptable to earlier D8L (53Y, 7YB, 4FB, 7JC), D9L (14Y), D10N (2YD, 3SK) Track-Type Tractors. The improved seal can be identified by the 16 gates protruding from each side. The improved seal can also be identified by the four digit code "0195" located in the center of the seal. The four digit code indicates the month in which the seal was manufactured.
