Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Lower all implements to the ground.
Release the system pressure.
Drain the hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining procedures.

Remove plate (1). Remove floor mat (2).

Disconnect linkage arms (5). Remove lever assemblies (4). Remove bracket assembly (6). Remove floor plate (7).

Disconnect hose assemblies (8), (9), and (10). Remove valve assembly (11).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to remove bank valve (12) and the mounting bracket. The weight of bank valve (12) and the mounting bracket are approximately 56 kg (124 lb)
