start by:a) remove transmission oil coolerb) remove oil panc) remove vibration damper1. Remove oil pump screen (1). 2. Install tooling (A) on the bottom of the engine cylinder block. 3. Put a screw jack (2) or other suitable lifting device under tooling (A).4. Remove water pump inlet elbow (3). 5. Remove bolts (4) and (5) that hold engine support to machine frame and disconnect the wiring at the rear of the support. 6. Use screw jack (2) to lift the front of the engine approximately 25.4 mm (1 in.).7. Remove the two top bolts that hold engine front support (6) to the trunnion and install tooling (B). 8. Remove the lower two bolts that hold the front support to the trunnion and move front support (6) off tooling (B). The front support weighs 27 kg (60 lb.). 9. Remove tooling (B) and remove trunnion (7) from the timing gear cover. Install Engine Front Support And Trunnion
1. Install trunnion (1) on the timing gear housing. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 14 N m (100 10 lb.ft.). 2. Install tooling (B) in the top two bolt holes for support (2). 3. Put support (2) in position on tooling (B) and install the bolts that hold support (2) to trunnion (1).4. Connect the wiring to the rear of the support.5. Lower the front of the engine until support (2) makes contact with the machine frame. 6. Install bolts (3) and (4) that hold the front support to the machine frame. 7. Install water pump inlet elbow (5). 8. Remove tooling (A). 9. Install oil pump screen (6).end by:a) install vibration damperb) install oil panc) install transmission oil cooler
