( 1 ) Refer to Special Publication, JEBD3003, "ET Software CD and Getting Started Book". Instructions for the use of Electronic Technician software are included in the software.Prior to performing any of the following tests, use Steps 1 through 8:
Place the machine on level ground.
Stop the engine.
Connect any pressure gauges to the pressure ports, if necessary.

Connect the laptop computer to the service connector (1) .
Start the engine.
Place the engine speed dial in position 10.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).Note: Fully move the stick several times until the normal hydraulic oil temperature is reached.
Set the relief valve pressure settings to the proper specification.
