The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
There have been a number of remanufactured 3024C engines that have insufficient clearance between the pistons and the cylinder bores. The engine arrangement that is affected is 10R-7922 Engine Ar-Prim . This leads to scuffing of the pistons in the cylinder block and with continued operation of the engine can lead to problems with the pistons.The remanufactured serial numbers that have been identified with this problem are listed in table 1.
