At low engine speeds, the cab can shake and the engine can lug on machines equipped with "XPS" high flow hydraulics.Solution
The high flow "XPS" system uses a variable displacement pump. This pump will maintain near full pump flow with the engine at low idle. At low engine speeds, lowering the loader arms can cause the pump flow to generate a hydraulic load. As the flow passes through the restriction in the Raise/Lower circuit, the load can cause the engine to lug or stall the engine.To prevent stalling the engine, raise the engine RPM. This restriction within the Raise/Lower circuit of the control valve is set to prevent cylinder voiding during normal operation. This phenomenon is normal operation for this type of control system.
