TUBE AS-TURBOCHARGER 2780015 - Caterpillar

1. Remove air conditioning knob (6), heater control knob (4) and fan control knob (5) from control console (8). Remove eight bolts (10) and lower control console (8). Disconnect the wires from the fan switch and put identification on them for correct installation.2. Loosen two thumb screws (1) and remove cover (2). Remove two foam rubber filters. Remove eight screws (7) and filter flange (9).3. Remove two screws and remove dome light lens (3). 4. Remove three screws (11) and lower dome light (12). Disconnect the wires from the dome light and remove it from the cab. Put identification on the wires for correct installation. 5. Remove ten screws from the right side panel (15) and remove it from the cab. Remove insulation from the cab.6. Remove two bolts and washers (13) and remove upper window handle (14) from top of cab. 7. Remove the screws that hold cover assembly (16) to the top of the cab and remove it and the insulation.Install Sound Suppression
1. Install five pieces of insulation (1) in the top of cab. 2. Install cover assembly (2) and the screws that hold it in place. 3. Install insulation (3) and right side panel (4). Install ten screws to hold the panel. 4. Install window handle bracket (6) to the top of the cab with two bolts and washers (5). 5. Connect two wires (7) to the cab wiring and install dome light (8) with three screws. Install the lens with two screws. 6. Connect all wires to the correct terminals on fan switch (9) as control console (10) is installed with eight bolts. Install the air conditioner control knob, the heater knob and the fan control knob. 7. Install filter flange (13) with eight screws (11). Then install two foam rubber filters (12). 8. Install cover (14) and tighten two thumb screws (15).
