Do not check for leaks with your hands. Pin hole (very small) leaks can result in a high velocity oil stream that will be invisible close to the hose. This oil can penetrate the skin and cause personal injury. Use cardboard or paper to locate pin hole leaks.

The hydraulic oil temperature is high.
Possible Causes
The hydraulic oil level is low. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
The oil cooler is blocked.
The fan or the fan motor speed is too low.
The oil filter is restricted.
The relief valves for the piston pump or the piston motor are set too high.
Multifunction relief valve pressure is set too high.
Oil viscosity is incorrect. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".Problem
The system response is sluggish
Possible Causes
Bypass valves open. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Towing the Machine".
The oil filter is restricted.
The solenoid for the control valve (motor displacement) is faulty.
Charging pump pressure is low.
The relief valves for the piston pump or the piston motor are set too high.
Worn piston pumpProblem
The machine will not operate in either direction
Possible Causes
The hydraulic oil level is low. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
Bypass valves open. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7560, "Towing the Machine".
Both solenoids for the displacement control valve of the pump are faulty or both solenoids have been disconnected.
The brake pedal switch is stuck or the brake pedal switch is broken.
The speed sensor connections are loose or the speed sensor connections are broken.
The solenoid for the control valve (motor displacement) is broken or the solenoid for the control valve (motor displacement) is disconnected.
Faulty electronic control module or electrical circuit
Transfer gear failure.The machine will operate in one direction only
Possible Causes
The Bypass valve is open. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Towing the Machine".
One solenoid on the displacement control valve for the piston pump is faulty.
Multifunction valve failure
