Diagnostics
Note: All diagnostics must be performed on firm, level ground. The machine should remain stationary and functions operated at low idle.Display Function
Press and hold the "TEST" button that is located on the front of the display. All of the LED's will illuminate and the alarm will sound continuously until the button is released. This operation puts an internal loading on the system to test the function of the LED's and the alarm.
Press and hold the "TEST" button and the "DUTY" button at the same time. This operation shows the model designation by using the top five LED's. Refer to table 1 in the "Calibration" section.Boom Switch Diagnostics for TH62, TH63, TH82 and TH83
Fully extend the boom.
Press and hold the "TEST" and "DUTY" buttons at the same time. This operation will perform a function test for the boom switch. The display will show LED 3 illuminated. When the boom is fully retracted, LED 3 will be extinguished.Note: If LED 3 fails to illuminate when the boom is extended or LED 3 is illuminated when the boom is retracted, check the boom switch operation, the harness and all connections.Boom Switch Diagnostics for TH103
Fully extend the boom.

(A) Boom Switch 1 (B) Boom Switch 2
Press and hold the "TEST" and the "DUTY" buttons at the same time. This operation will perform a function test for the two boom switches. The display will show LED 3 and LED 4 illuminated. LED 3 refers to boom switch 1 and LED 4 refers to boom switch 2. When the boom is fully retracted, LED 3 and LED 4 will be extinguished.Note: If LED 3 and LED 4 fail to illuminate when the boom is extended or LED 3 and LED 4 are illuminated when the boom is retracted, check the boom switch operation, the harness and all connections.Calibration Diagnostics (Zero Setting)
Refer to steps 3 through 8 in the "Calibration Procedure".During calibration, when the "TEST" button is pressed to set the "ZERO" position, if the alarm sounds without a pause, this indicates that the system has not accepted the setting because of a fault. Check that the boom is fully retracted and that the boom switch is operating correctly. Also check the "DUTY" switch is set to stabilizers UP and all harness connections are secure.Calibration Diagnostics (Tip Setting)
Refer to steps 9 through 11 in the "Calibration Procedure".During calibration, after the "SPAN +%" button is pressed to set the TIP position, the alarm will sound without a pause. If after a short pause, the alarm sounds twice, this indicates the system has not accepted the calibration setting because of a fault. Check that the boom is fully extended and that the boom switch is operating correctly. Also check the "DUTY" switch is set to stabilizers UP and all harness connections are secure.Sensor Diagnostics
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position. The engine should not be running. To test the chassis sensor input of the unit, disconnect the harness from the display to the chassis sensor. Connect a loop across
