(2) 490-7797 O-Ring Seal
Lubricate the o-ring seal (2) with grease and install the o-ring seal (2) in the rear (smaller) seat.

(3) 526-7313 O-Ring Seal
Lubricate the o-ring seal (3) with grease and install the o-ring seal (3) in the nearest (larger) seat.

(4) 526-7327 Piston
Lubricate the piston (4) with the grease, install the piston into the differential housing, and lightly tap evenly with soft face mallet to seat.

(S) Retaining bolts
Add thread lock to the retaining bolts (S) and install. Torque to 15 1 N m (133 9 lb in).

(5) 097-5144 O-Ring Seal
(J) Plate
(W) Bearing outer race
Clean the plate (J) and ensure the bearing outer race (W) is correctly located. Lubricate and install the o-ring seal (5) on to the plate (J).

(E) Differential housing

(K) Differential group
Install the differential (K) into the housing (E), support the differential (K) via suitable tooling in the output drive and install the plate (J).

(H) Bolt
Add thread lock to the bolts (H) and install. Torque the bolts to 25.0 1.5 N m (221.3 13.3 lb in).

(X) Plug
(Y) Port
Remove the plug (X) which will allow visual access to the differential lock piston. Apply air or hydraulic pressure to the port (Y) to a maximum of 3000 kPa (435 psi) which will activate the differential lock piston to ensure that the piston extends, once the pressure is removed by the piston should retract within one second. Check o-ring seals are not allowing oil or air leaking.Note: Applying a pressure of greater than 3000 kPa (435 psi) will cause the o-ring seals to fail.

(5) 097-5144 O-Ring Seal
(D) Axle housing
(G) Brake discs
Clean the face of the axle housing (D), then lubricate and install the o-ring seal (5). Install the brake packs (F) and (G) in to the axle housing, keeping discs in the correct order.Note: Ensure the holes in discs are aligned.

Using appropriate lifting equipment, install the left-hand axle housing (D) and the brake pack group (F) to the differential housing.

(E) Differential housing
Install the bolts (C) and evenly tighten, then apply torque to 300 10 N m (221 7 lb ft).
Install the front and rear axles as per Disassembly and Assembly, M0070750.
Install the tire and rim assemblies as per Disassembly and Assembly, M0070750.
Refill the front and rear axle oil as per Operation and Maintenance Manual, M0064226.
Remove the frame articulation lock as per Operation and Maintenance Manual, M0064226.
Test the machine.
