Ether Starting Aid Switch (1) - Ether starting aid switch (1) controls the use of the ether starting aid. There are three different positions to ether starting aid switch (1)."AUTO" - Move ether starting aid switch (1) to the AUT position. In normal operation, the ether injection system operates automatically. The ether injection system automatically injects a selected amount of ether into the engine during starting, if necessary.The ether injection system is automatically controlled."OFF" - This position deactivates the ether starting aid."Manual" - Ether starting aid switch (1) should only be used in the MANUAL position for cold weather starting.
