This machine is equipped with a 1000 rpm power take-off (PTO). A 44.5 mm (1.75 inch) shaft is supplied as standard equipment. The PTO shaft has 20 splines.The PTO clutch is electronically modulated in order to provide smooth clutch engagement. Also, this will provide a long life for the PTO clutch. For safety, the PTO clutch will automatically disengage when the engine is stopped or when the engine is stalled. Also, a switch in the seat detects the presence of an operator. An alarm will sound for a duration of five seconds when the operator leaves the seat while the PTO is engaged.There is a brake in the drive line for the PTO. The brake is automatically applied when the PTO is not engaged and the engine is running. When you stop the engine, the brake disengages. This allows you to rotate the PTO shaft by hand when you attach drive shafts from implements.
