Removal Procedure
Start By:
Prepare the machine for disassembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Preparation for Disassembly".

Position the machine. Refer to Illustration 1. Support the end of the stick with cribbing.

Remove two bolts (1). Remove cover (2) .

Remove pivot pin (3) .

Remove two hydraulic hose assemblies (4). Remove pivot pin (5) .

Support the cylinder end with a suitable lifting sling and a hoist. Lift up on the cylinder as the cylinder is removed from the machine. Stop when the slide plate is visible at the end of the stick. The extendable stick cylinder weighs 50 kg (110 lb).

Remove bolt (6). Remove slide plate (7) .

Add a second sling (A). Remove the cylinder from the machine.
