Install O-ring seal (40), backup ring (39), O-ring seal (38), O-ring seal (37), and backup ring (36) to plug (33) .

Install plug (33) to control valve (8). Tighten plug (33) to a torque of 145 15 N m (107 11 lb ft).
Install the O-ring seal and cover (34) with bolts (35). Tighten bolts (35) to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (32) to plug (29). Install valve (30), spring (31), and plug (29) to the control valve. Tighten plug (29) to a torque of 160 15 N m (118 11 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (22), retainer (26), spring (27), spring (28), shims (23), retainer (24), and bolt (25) to ripper stem (21). Tighten bolt (25) to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).Note: Ripper stem (21) is nonserviceable.Note: The sizes of shims (23) varies from two different sizes. Use as many shims as required in order to obtain a gap of 0.75 mm (0.0295 inch) between shims (23) and retainer (24) .

Install O-ring seal (20), housing (19), and bolts (18). Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (17), backup ring (16), and O-ring seal (15) to body (12). Install valve (13), spring (14), and body (12) to the control valve. Tighten body (12) to a torque of 145 15 N m (107 11 lb ft).

Install three O-ring seals (10), O-ring seal (9), and O-ring seal (11) to control valve (8) .
Repeat Steps 15 through 28 for the other control valves.
Install the three rods and all control valves to the inlet manifold, as shown.

Install three O-ring seals (4), O-ring seal (5), and rectangular seal (6) to cover (2) .
Install the O-ring seal and plug (3). Install the O-ring seal and plug (7) .
Place cover (2) in position and install the three washers and three nuts (1) .End By: Install the hydraulic control valve to the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Control Valve - Install" for the correct procedure.
