If this occurs, perform the following Steps.
Locate the 9-pin connector (diagnostic connector). The connector is J1 on a PEEC engine and the connector is J8 on a PEEC III engine. Refer to the engine's schematic.
Pin F is the pin for programming. Pin F must be grounded in order to change parameters. Install a jumper between pin B and pin F or connect pin F to engine ground. Ensure that the existing wires remain connected in the 9-pin connector.Some of the following parameters are affected if pin F is not properly grounded: Engine Serial Number, Personality Module Code, Full Load Setting and Full Torque Setting.
