Right Side of Engine (1) Charge pump (2) Outlet line (3) Inlet portCharge pump (1) is located in the engine compartment on the right side of the machine. The engine drives this gear type pump. The steering pump and the charge pump share a common housing. The steering pump is splined to the charge pump. The steering pump and the charge pump also share common inlet port (3). The pumps draw oil from the hydraulic tank through a suction strainer.When the engine is running, charge pump (1) rotates. The charge pump directs oil to the fan motor through charge pump outlet line (2). Return oil from the fan motor is sent to the charge filter. The charge filter directs charge oil to the propel and vibratory charge circuits.
