An earlier article, "New Nozzle Assembly Used In Fuel Injection Valves" tells about the use of a new 8N1831 Nozzle Assembly in place of a former 7S1059 Nozzle Assembly on these models. This is correct for some engine applications, but a different nozzle assembly is used for other engine applications. The chart that follows shows the correct nozzle assembly to use in D379, D398, and D399 Engines for different engine applications.
