Start By:a. remove water pumpb. remove alternatorc. remove air conditioner compressor (do not disconnect lines)d. remove fan and fan drivee. remove oil pan platef. remove crankshaft front seal and wear sleeve 1. Remove bolts (1), and remove alternator bracket (2). Remove bolt and wire clip (3). Remove bolt and bracket (4).2. Remove bolts (not shown in photo) and back cover plate (5) to the water pump. Remove bolts (not shown in photo) and rear cover (6) on the accessory drive. 3. Position tool (A) and a jack under the front of the engine. 4. Remove bolt (7), and remove mount assembly (8) from each side of the engine.5. Remove bolts (9), and remove engine front support (10). Remove bolts (11), and remove timing gear cover (12). The following steps are for the installation of the timing gear cover.6. Position the timing gear cover on the engine block and install bolts (11). Position engine front support (10) and install bolts (9). Tighten the 3/8" bolts to a torque of 55 7 N m (41 5 lb.ft.). Tighten the 1/2" bolts to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb.ft.).7. Install mount assembly (8) and bolt (7) on each side of the front support. Remove tool (A) and the jack from under the front of the engine.8. Install rear cover (6) on the accessory drive, and install back cover plate (5) to the water pump.9. Install bolt and bracket (4). Install bolt and wire clip (3).
