Thoroughly clean the contacting surfaces of the wheel and the axle housing.

Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting chains to wheel (2) . Use the hoist to carefully install wheel (2) to the machine. The approximate weight of the wheel is between 1800 kg (4000 lb) and 2117 kg (4700 lb).

Install 30 nuts (1) on the wheel. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 570 80 N m (420 60 lb ft).
Remove the locking pin from Tooling (A) (not shown). Lower the machine to the ground.
Remove Tooling (A) .
Remove the wood blocks from the other wheels.End By:
Install the bulldozer. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install the cleaner bar. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cleaner Bar - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
