4. Ensure that there is clearance between the coupler hose and ride control accumulator by turning the hose until the natural bend of the hose clears the accumulator. Image2.4.1 shows the possible interference that should be adjusted.
5. If the hose is gouged through the outer layer, replace it. Do not replace for minor rub marks.
6. Reinstall the LH frame side sheet. Tighten the fasteners to a specified torque of 55 N.m.

ISSUE 1: The coupler lines can interfere with a worm clamp on the lift cylinder.
1. Inspect. Look into the tower from the front/right side of the machine to determine if the coupler lines are incorrectly routed on the outside of the tilt lines, toward the lift cylinder clamp. Refer to Image3.1.1.
2. If the lines are incorrectly routed, cut the cable strap, route the lines underneath the tilt lines, and re-strap in the new location. Refer to Image3.1.2.
3. If the hose(s) are gouged through the outer layer, replace it. Do not replace for minor rub marks.

ISSUE 2: The coupler supply hose can route too closely to the water valve on the HVAC core under the cab. Refer to Image3.2.1.
1. Remove LH frame side sheet to visualize and inspect the hose/water valve.
The cab must remain closed in order to see the potential interference. Refer to Image3.2.2.

2. If there is interference as shown in Image3.2.1, rotate the 148-8369 Adapter (90 degree) out of the hydraulic coupler valve so it is approximately 60 degrees.
Refer to Image3.3.1 for the before rotation.

3. In some cases, the front platform harness is routed in a way that it could cause an interference with the supply hose. Add a 7K-1181 Cable Strap to hold them together if this is the case. Ensure that there is clearance between coupler supply hose and bare wires of water valve. The cable strap may need to be removed and replaced in a way that keeps the wires away from the hose. Refer to Image3.4.1.

ISSUE 3: The coupler hoses along the lift arm can interfere with a bolt on the frame when routed behind the tilt lines and close to the frame. Refer to Image3.6.1.
1. Inspect. Look into the top of the tower as shown in Image3.6.1. If the coupler hoses are interfering with the tower bolt, rework is required. The interfering bolt is located behind the hoses when looking in from the side. Refer to Image3.6.2.
2. Rotate the P-clip holding the coupler hoses downward to route hoses away from bolt. Adjust the slack in the hoses in order to miss the bolt.
