TUBE AS 3080946 - Caterpillar

Disconnect brake hose (15) from the front propel motor. Hand tighten Tool (B) on the port, and then loosen the cap one half turn in order to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (C) in order to plug the hose assembly.

Disconnect brake hose (16) from the rear propel motor. Hand tighten Tool (B) on the port, and then loosen the cap one half turn in order to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (C) in order to plug the hose assembly. Perform the test procedure.

Loosen the lock nut on needle valve (17). Rotate needle valve (17) clockwise in order to fully close the valve. Test Procedure

Move engine start switch (4) into the ON position. When the "Wait to start engine" message disappears from display (18), move the engine start switch to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle.
