Bucket Lift Kick-out Adjustment (950 and 966C)
Use caution to avoid possible personal injury when adjusting bucket lift kick-out.When working under or around bucket or linkage, with bucket raised, proper support must be provided for bucket and/or linkage.
1. Start engine. Raise bucket or attachment to desired height. Stop engine.2. Loosen bolt and position high point of cam against kick-out valve lever. 3. Tighten bolt, then lower bucket or forks to ground. 4. Start engine and lock bucket lift control in RAISE. 5. Adjust control valve so the valve roller stroke is .40 inch (10 mm) from fully extended position. 4. Lower bucket or attachment to ground.5. Start engine. 6. 1. Lower bucket to ground. 2. Position bucket at desired angle. Stop engine. 3. Loosen bolts holding cam. 4. Move tilt control lever to TILT BACK. 5. Move cam against plunger until lever returns to HOLD. 6. Tighten cam bolts.Parking Brake Adjustment - Early 950 Wheel Loader
1. Parking brake in applied position. 2. Release parking brake. 3. Turn adjustment knob. 4. Engage parking brake. 5. Parking brake is properly adjusted when there is a reasonably hard pull to snap the lever to the applied position, and the parking brake will hold the machine.
