start by:a) remove undercarriage1. Make a mark on the undercarriage at the location of the dowel hole so the swing gear and bearing will be installed in the same position. 2. Install tools (A) on the swing gear and bearing with 1/2" bolts 4 1/2 in. long, nuts and flat washers.3. Fasten a hoist and remove bolts (1) and washers.4. Remove swing gear and bearing (2) from the undercarriage. Weight is 390 lb. (176 kg).Install Swing Gear And Bearing
1. Install tools (A) on the swing gear and bearing with 1/2" bolts 4 1/2 in. long, nuts and flat washers. 2. Fasten a hoist and put the swing gear and bearing (1) in position on the undercarriage. Put the swing gear and bearing dowel hole in alignment with the mark on the undercarriage. Guide pins can be used to put the swing gear and bearing in position on the undercarriage.3. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the bolt threads and washer faces of the bolts that hold the swing gear and bearing to the undercarriage. Install the bolts and washer. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 225 20 lb.ft. (300 25 N m).4. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the teeth of the swing gear.end by:a) install undercarriage
