start by:a) remove bucket or boom cylinder 1. Install tooling (A) and remove the seals and bearings from the rod. 2. Install tooling (A) and remove the seals and bearings from the head end of the cylinder.Install Hydraulic Cylinder Bearing Assemblies (Bucket And Boom)
1. Install one of the seals even with the outside surface of the rod with tooling (A). The chamfer goes toward the inside of the rod. 2. Put bearing (1) in position next to the rod with the split in the bearing 90° to a line through the center of the rod. Put seal (2) in position next to the bearing with the chamfer toward the inside of the rod.3. Install tooling (B). Operate the puller assembly until the seal is even with the outside surface of the rod.4. Follow the procedures in Steps 1 through 3 and install the seals and bearings in the head end of the cylinder.
