Remove seven bolts (76) and trunnion cover (77) from each side of the pump housing.

Remove O-ring seal (78) and shim (79).

Install Tooling (C) and Tooling (D), as shown. Remove bearing (80).

Install Tooling (E) and a suitable strap, as shown. Remove the barrel and piston assembly.

Put Tooling (K) between the bearing and the barrel.
Install Tooling (C) and Tooling (D), as shown. Remove bearing (81).Note: Mark the shaft and the barrel for installation purposes.
Remove barrel assembly (82).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Put the barrel assembly in a suitable press, as shown. Compress the spring and remove retaining ring (86). Slowly relieve the pressure on the spring.

Remove guide (83), spring (84), and guide (85) from barrel (82).

Remove the swashplate assembly from shaft (87).

Use a suitable press to remove bearing (88) from shaft (87).

Remove four bolts (90), bearing (91), and shims (92) from each side of the swashplate assembly. Remove plate (89) and the pistons.

Use Tooling (G) to remove retaining ring (95) and link assembly (96). Remove bearing cup (97) from each side of the housing, if necessary.
Remove retainer (99) and bearing inserts (100) from link assembly (96).
