Fit roller (26) into piston (27). Coat the assembly with clean hydraulic oil. Install the assembly in the block. Repeat for the remaining piston assemblies.

Install retainer (25). Install snap ring (24). Invert the block. Repeat for the opposite side.

Install cam (23) on the front end cover.
Press piston assemblies (21) into block (22). Install block (22) in the cam.

Install two seals (20) in rear cover (16).

Place a small amount of Tooling (A) into the holes in valve (18). Install springs (19) in the holes.

Install valve (18) in rear end cover (16). The mark that was made during disassembly must be properly aligned.
Install O-ring seal (17) on rear end cover (16).
Install rear end cover (16) on cam (23).

Put Tooling (B) on bolts (15). Install bolts (15). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 120 3 N m (88 2 lb ft).
Verify that the motor rotates freely.

Install O-ring seal (13) and O-ring seal (14) in the rear end cover.

Place the brake housing on the rear end cover. Put Tooling (B) on bolts (9). Install bolts (9). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 73 3 N m (54 2 lb ft).

Stack brake washer (12), shims (11A), and plates (11) together. There will be 16 outer plates and 14 inner plates. There must be two outer plates next to shims (11A). Alternate plates (11). The last plate must be an outer plate.
Measure plates (11), shims (11A), and brake washer (12). The measurement must be 36.30 0.10 mm (1.429 0.004 inch).

Install shaft (10) in the brake housing. Install brake washer (12), shims (11A), and plates (11) on shaft (10). Note: Brake washer (12) must be installed against the frame end cover.

Install seal (8) in the brake housing.
Install seal (7) on brake piston (6).
Coat seal (7) and seal (8) with clean hydraulic oil. Place brake piston (6) in the brake housing. Push on brake piston (6) in order to seat brake piston (6).

Coat the surface of brake piston (6) with a thin layer of Tooling (A). Place disc spring (3) on the piston. The inner diameter of the disc spring should make contact with the piston.
Place gasket (4) on cover (2). Coat the surface of cover (2) with a thin layer of Tooling (A).

Place cover (2) on the brake housing. Install bolts (1) in cover (2). Tightening bolts (1) will compress spring (3). Tighten the bolts in an even sequence. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 37 2 N m (27 2 lb ft). End By:
