5. Lift the motor away and set it down, drive plate up, in a CLEAN area.6. Remove the stud nuts holding the drive plate to the hub and take off the drive plate.7. Break the tack weld on the hub retaining nut with a chisel and remove the nut. Take the hub off the motor shaft, using two puller bolts. Save the shaft key for use in assembly.8. Remove the bolts holding the motor shaft shield and take off the shield.9. Remove the bolts holding the motor to the mount and take away the mount.H. Drum Drive Motor Replacement
1. Replace motor in reverse order of removal.2. Refer to Maintenance Manual 23 for drum replacement.3. Torque the hub retaining nut to 520 ft-lb (705 N-m).I. Hydraulic Oil Cooler Removal 420C
1. Disconnect six bolts (A) holding grill to main frame assembly. Remove grill.2. Disconnect bypass hose (1) from between the two elbows. Remove bypass hose and plug the two elbows.3. Disconnect cooler inlet hose (2). Plug hose and cooler inlet port.4. Disconnect cooler outlet hose (3). Plug hose and cooler outlet port.5. Remove the eight bolts (B) holding oil cooler to radiator. 1. Replace in reverse order of removal.2. When replacing bypass line make certain the arrow on the 25 psi check valve is pointing towards return side of the cooler.K. Microswitch Removal
1. Disconnect cable (1) from microswitch.2. Remove the four bolts (A) holding microswitch to mounting bracket.3. Remove microswitch.L. Microswitch Replacement
