This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM determines that the signal from the tilt lever position sensor is too high. The tilt lever sensor is a PWM sensor.The possible causes for this diagnostic code are listed:
The tilt lever position sensor rotated above normal operating range.
The signal circuit is open.
The return circuit is open.
The signal circuit is shorted to +battery.
The +battery circuit from the electrical system to the sensor is open.System Response:The machine response is listed:

After the diagnostic code is cleared, the tilt lever must be recentered in order to allow the tilt linkage to operate.Note: The following test procedure may create other diagnostic codes. Ignore these created diagnostic codes and clear the diagnostic codes when the original diagnostic code is corrected.
