Solution:
Leakage at the main pump shaft seal is corrected with the addition of a new seal kit. This seal kit includes a new pump shaft seal, an offset cover that changes the location of the seal on the shaft, a new O-ring, an additional spring, and an additional bushing to guide the spring. The new spring and bushing are installed inside the shaft coupling that connects the main pump shaft to the swing shaft. Refer to Illustration 1.
