Certain 980G SERIES II WHEEL LOADERS may experienceearly hydraulic filter plugging indication. When the radiator fan speedis at the maximum, the pressure drop in the hydraulic filter can causethe pressure switch to be wrongly activated and ask for a filter change.The installation of a bigger 1261818 filter, compatible with the maximumflow in the fan circuit, will solve this issue.AFFECTED PRODUCT

In order to improve the clearance between thefilter and the platform, it is recommended to increase the 4 holes diameter11.5, fastening the hydraulic filter base, by 4 slots 11.5 x 20 as shownon the sketch here below. Replace existing bolts and washers by 8T4195bolts (4) and 7X7729 washers (8).Note: In some cases the clearance is large enough to install directly thenew filter without reworking the support.
