Reassembly Cylinder Barrel
35. Install beveled spring spacer (beveled side down as shown in Fig. 12), spring, and flat spring spacer in the order shown.36. Use a press (if available), or thread rod with washers and nuts, to compress spacers and spring. Then install retaining ring in groove of cylinder barrel, see Fig. 12.

Install slipper retainer plate (beveled side of plate toward retainer guide as shown in Fig. 13). Then install 9 piston slipper assemblies. Piston to bore clearance is critical. Don't force piston into bore. If tightness occurs, check bore and piston for contamination, burrs, or damage.
