(17) Yoke.Case (2) for the output transfer gears transfers power from the transmission to the front and rear drive shafts. The power flow from the input drive shaft is transferred by input transfer gear (1) to the transmission through input shaft (5) . The transmission directs power through the output shaft to transfer drive gear (6) .Gear (6) drives gear (7) which drives gear (10) . Gear (10) drives splined shaft (12) which drives gear (11) . Gear (11) transfers power through gear (13) to output shaft (16) . Yoke (14) is connected to the drive shaft for power to the front differential and bevel gear.Shims (3) are used to make an adjustment to the end play of input gear (6) . Shims (8) are used to make an adjustment to the end play of upper idler gear (7) . Shims (9) are used to make an adjustment to the end play of lower idler gears (10) and (11) .Oil for lubrication of the output transfer gears comes from the oil cooler. The oil comes from a passage in the case for the transmission and the case for the output transfer gears. The oil goes into a tube assembly which sprays oil on the moving components in the case for the transfer gears. The bottom of the output transfer gears is the reservoir for the power train oil.
