Start By:a. remove track roller frames
Typical Example1. Install tooling (A) on pivot shaft (1) as shown. Fasten a hoist to tooling (A).2. Install a 5/8" - 11 NC forged eyebolt in the end of the pivot shaft.3. Fasten tooling (B) to a stationary object.4. Remove pivot shaft (1) from the machine. The weight of the pivot shaft is approximately 670 kg (1490 lb).5. If bearings (2) are removed, they must be destroyed. The following steps are for the installation of the pivot shaft.6. Lower the temperature of the bearings. Install the bearings until they seat in the counterbore.
