1. Disconnect three control rods (1). Two of these rods are not visible. Disconnect four hose assemblies (2). 2. Disconnect four hose assemblies (3). 3. Disconnect four hose assemblies (4). 4. Support valve with lifting strap. Remove four bolts (5). Two of these bolts are not visible. Remove the valve. The weight of the valve is 78 kg (171 lb). Before installing check all O-ring seals. Install valve in the reverse order.Disassemble Bulldozer Lift Valve Section
The bulldozer lift valve section and the other valve sections are similar, but not interchangeable. The bulldozer lift valve section has been shown here, but the same basic disassembly procedure should be used for the other sections. Differences between the valve sections can be identified by referring to the line drawing illustrations for each section. Start By:a. remove hydraulic control valve group
Spring pressure is present in lever group. To prevent possible injury from flying parts, carefully remove lever group.
Bulldozer Lift Control Valve Section1. Disassemble the valve sections. Put identification marks on lever group (2) for assembly purposes. Slowly and evenly loosen the two bolts (8), and remove lever group (2) from valve section (1). 2. Remove boot (3) and O-ring seals (4) and (5) from lever group (2).3. Remove two bolts (8), cover (7), shims (6), housing (10), and seal (9) from lever group (2).4. Remove bearing (12), lever (11), ring (13) and bearing (12) from housing (10). 5. Remove stem (15) from the lift valve section.6. Compress spring (16), and remove retainer (14) from the stem. Remove spring (16) and retainer (17) from stem (15).7. Remove bolt (19) and detent (18) from stem (15). Remove the O-ring from bolt (19).8. Remove plug assembly (20) from the lift valve section. Remove valve (22) spring (23) and O-ring seal (24) from plug assembly. 9. Heat plug assembly (20) to a maximum temperature of 135° C (275° F). Use tooling (A), and remove bearing (21) from plug (20). 10. Remove bolts (25), cover (26) with O-ring (27). 11. Remove relief valve group (29), sleeve (28) and spring (30). Disassemble relief valve group (29) using the line drawing illustration.12. Reach inside valve section (1) and remove valve group (31).13. Remove plug (34), spring (35) and valve (36). Remove bearing (37) the same as bearing (21).14. Remove plug (38) with seal (39). Remove seals (40) and rings (41) from plug (38). 15. Remove bolts (42), cover (43), housing (44) with the O-ring seals. Remove the O-ring seals.16. Remove the detent assembly. Compress spring (45) a small amount and remove balls (47). Remove sleeve (49), retainer (46) and spring (45) from retainer (48).
