ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to Image1 below for reference during removal and installation of the seawater tube.
1. Remove the two hose clamps #1 from hose #2.
2. Remove two bolts and washers #3 from retaining flange.
3. Remove two bolts, nuts, washers and 2 piece clamp #4 from the tube assembly.
4. Remove the 243-3817 tube assembly #5 from the Aftercooler #8 and hose #2.
5. Remove the sleeve #6 from old tube assembly #5 (sleeve to be reused on installation of new tube assembly 320-4797).
6. Lubricate and install new O-Ring 6L1651 #7 onto new 320-4797 Tube As..
7. Reinstall sleeve item #5 (reused from old Tube As.) onto new 320-4797 Tube As.
8. Install new 320-4797 Tube As. into Aftercooler #8 and hose #2.
9. Reinstall two bolts, nuts, washers and 2 piece clamp #4 onto the new Tube assembly.
10. Reinstall two bolts and washers #3 into retaining flange.
11. Reinstall the two hose clamps #1 onto hose #2.

1. Reasonable travel and mileage is covered up to $200 per vessel. Please note the sister engine serial number installed in the boat in the claim story as only one trip will be covered for a pair of engines in a vessel.
2. Maximum engine and engine room cleanup reimbursement is $1000 per vessel.
3. Replacement of other damaged components to be submitted as a policy claim through local Cat service Rep.
4. Must include additional documentation (invoice) for detailing engine and engine room in the claim submittal.
5. Only the parts listed in this program are allowed unless prior approval by local Cat Rep. for additional damage caused by seawater leak.
