1. Remove the seat and the floor plates from the operator's station. 2. Remove bolts (1) that fasten the transmission control cables to the transmission case.3. Pull the cables toward the front of the machine, and unhook directional control cable (2) and speed control cable (3) from the spools. After the cables are disconnected, push the spools all the way into the control valve.4. Disconnect hose (5) from the side of the transmission case.5. Disconnect two tubes (4) and wire connector (9). Remove two bolts (8), and remove transmission neutralizer valve (6) from the transmission.6. Remove cover (7) and the gasket from the top of the transmission. 7. Remove tube (10) from the control valve.8. Remove adapter (11) and spring (12). Use a 3/8"-16 NC bolt, and pull sleeve (13) from the control valve. 9. Remove four bolts (14) that fasten hydraulic control valve (15) to the planetary group.10. Install tooling (A), and fasten a hoist. Remove transmission control valve (15) from the machine. The weight of the control valve is 35 kg (77 lb.).11. Install the transmission control valve in the reverse order of removal.12. Tighten bolts (14) to a torque of 47 4 N m (35 3 lb.ft.).13. Lubricate the seals on tube (10) and sleeve (13) with clean transmission oil before assembly.Disassemble Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve (3F/3R)
START BY:a. remove transmission hydraulic control valve (3F/3R) 1. Remove manifold (1) from the control valve. Remove the two O-ring seals from the back of the manifold. 2. Remove bolts (2). Remove plate (3) from the valve group. 3. Remove selector and pressure control valve body (4) from the bottom plate. 4. Remove cover (5) from valve body (4). Remove the O-ring seals from cover (5). 5. Remove spring (7) and valve spool (6) from valve body (4). 6. Apply pressure to retainer (9) to relieve the spring tension on snap ring (8). Remove snap ring (8), retainer (9) and the two springs from valve spool (6). 7. Remove piston (13), shims (12), spring (11) and spring (10) from the valve body. 8. Remove valve spool (14) and slug (15) from the valve body.9. Remove snap ring (19), retainer (18), spring (17) and ball (16) from valve spool (14). 10. Compress spool (21) to relieve the spring tension on pin (20). Remove pin (20) with a punch and a hammer, and remove valve spool (21), slug (22) and spring (23) from the valve body. 11. Remove detent assemblies (24) from the top and bottom of the valve body for valve spool (25). 12. Remove O-ring seals (26) from detent assemblies (24). 13. Use a hammer and punch to remove pin (28) that holds stop (27) in place.14. Remove stop (27) from the valve body.15. Remove valve spool (25). 16. Remove detent assemblies (29) from the top and bottom of the valve body for valve spool (30). 17. Remove O-ring seals (31) from detent assemblies (29). 18. Use a hammer and punch to remove pin (33) that holds
