88. Use two flat blade screw drivers to move cage (67) against the springs and install race (60) in position. 89. Use tool (E) and install bearing (66) in plate (65) to dimension (Y). Dimension (Y) must equal 1.00 .25 mm (.039 .010 in). 90. Install plate (65) on to cam (62). The plate is located on the end away from springs (70). 91. Install lockring (64) into gear (63). 92. Install gear (63) over plate (65) and cam (62). 93. Be sure race (60) is in the correct position. Move cage (67) against the springs to let race (60) move down.94. Put bearing (61) on race (60). 95. Install gear (58) into gear (63).96. Install retaining ring (59) to hold gear (58) in gear (63).
Typical Example97. Fasten to a hoist and carefully install one way roller clutch assembly (57). 98. Pull out on shaft (134) to engage retaining ring (55) in shaft (56) with race (60). 99. Install O-ring seals (51) and (52) in housing (46). Put clean oil on the O-ring seals. 100. Install O-ring seal (50) on housing (46).
Typical Example101. Fasten tool (D) and a hoist to housing (46). Put tool (D) in position so the marks will align.102. Install two 3/4" - 10 NC guide bolts (48) as shown and put housing (46) in position on the guide bolts.
Typical Example103. Install fourteen bolts (159) and the washers to secure housing (46). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb ft).
Typical Example104. Install seven discs (53) and seven plates (49). Start with a disc first and then a plate, repeating with a disc and then a plate until all seven discs and plates are installed. 105. Use tool (C) and install two bearings (45) and the spacer located between the bearings in housing assembly (20). Install the bearings to dimension (Z). Dimension (Z) must be 1.00 0.25 mm (.039 .010 in) below the surface of housing assembly (20). 106. Install disc (44) on shaft (43). Install the key and gear (42) on shaft (43). Install retaining ring (41) on shaft (43). 107. Install shaft (43), gear (42) and disc (44) as a unit in housing assembly (20). Install the disc on shaft (43). Install the key and gear (40) on shaft (43). Install the washer and nut (39) on shaft (43). 108. If removed, install retaining ring (38) in coupling (37). 109. Install coupling (37) into housing (20). 110. Install disc (36). 111. Install cage (35) on housing (20). Install the five washers and bolts from the opposite side of housing assembly (20) into cage assembly (35). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 7 N m (41 5 lb ft). Install washer (34) with the groove facing up.112. Install washer (34) and seal (32). Install screw (33). 113. Install eight sets of three springs (31) in the counterbores in housing (20). 114. Install seal ring (30) on piston (25)
