Information:
Start By:a. remove counterweight frame 1. Fasten a hoist to operator access ladder (1) and remove the ladder. Weight of the ladder is approximately 110 kg (242 lb).2. Fasten a hoist to right hand pipelayer frame (2). 3. Remove four bolts (4) and two plates (5) that secure two upper pins (3). 4. Install tooling (A) and a hoist to pin assemblies (3). Using tooling (A), remove the two pin assemblies. 5. Remove four bolts (7) and two plates (6) that secure two lower pins (8). Remove two pins (8).6. Remove right hand pipelayer frame (2). Weight of the right hand pipelayer frame is 900 kg (1985 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the pipelayer frame (right hand).7. Clean the pins and the pin bores. Put 5P0960 Molybdenum Grease in the pin bores.8. Fasten a hoist to right hand pipelayer frame (2) and put the pipelayer frame in position on the machine.9. Install two lower pins (8). Install two plates (6) and four bolts (7) to secure pins (8). To align the pin bores of center frame assembly (9) and right hand pipelayer frame (2), it may be necessary to apply upward pressure to the center frame assembly.10. Install tooling (B) under center frame assembly (9) as shown. Adjust the right hand pipelayer frame (2) and the center frame assembly until the pin bores are in alignment.11. Install upper pin (3) partially through center frame assembly (9) as shown.12. Fasten tooling (A) and hoist to pin (3). Install the upper pin. Position tooling (B) under the other side of center frame assembly (9).13. Repeat steps 10 thru 12 and install second upper pin (3).14. Install two plates (5) and four bolts (4) to secure two pins (3).15. Fasten a hoist to operator access ladder (1) and install the ladder.End By:a. install counterweight frame
