Apply Tooling (A) to the splines of the steering column universal joint.
Install steering column (8). Make sure that the splines of the steering column universal joint align with the spines of the metering pump steering column.
Install four bolts (9) .

Install cover (7) and four screws (6) .

Install bolt (4) and the nut. Tighten bolt (4) to a torque of 65 2 N m (48 2 lb ft).
Connect electrical connectors (2) and (3). Install electrical connectors (2) and (3) to the clips.
Install the clip and bolt (5) .
