TUBE AS 3693661 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect electrical connector (6) and three hoses (1) from water pump (2). Cut all tie wraps as required.2. Remove two bolts (4), and remove one plate (5), clamp (3) and water pump (2). Install the water pump in the reverse order of removal.Disassemble & Assemble Water Pumps
Start By:a. remove water pumps1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the water pump prior to disassembly.2. Remove three screws (1), and separate housing assemblies (2) from motor assembly (3).3. Remove three screws/nuts (4), and separate the housing assemblies.4. Remove three springs and caps (8) from upper housing assembly (7).5. Remove bypass valve kit (6) from drive assembly housing (5).6. Remove one o-ring seal (9) and one diaphragm (10) from the bypass valve kit.7. Turn the bypass valve kit over, and remove three diaphragms (11).8. Remove three screws (12), and separate the components in the drive assembly housing. Assemble the water pump in the reverse order of disassembly. Prior to assembly, apply a thin coat of 1U6396 O-ring Assembly Compound on all o-ring seals and on the end of the diaphragms.End By:a. install water pumps
