2. Remove cover (1) from the rear support. 3. Remove washer (2), bolts (3), plate (4) and a second washer (2) from the end of the trunnion. 4. Fasten a hoist and remove support (5) from the trunnion. The weight of support (5) is 43 kg (95 lb.). 5. Remove seal (6) and bearing (7) from the support. 6. Remove bolts (8) and trunnion (9) from the axle housing. The weight of trunnion (9) is 20 kg (45 lb.). 7. Remove O-ring seal (10) from the back of trunnion (9).Install Rear Axle Housing Rear Support
1. Install O-ring seal (2) on trunnion (1) and put clean differential oil on it. 2. Install two 5/8"-11 NC guide bolts (3) in the axle housing and put trunnion (1) in position on the guide bolts. Install the bolts and washers to hold trunnion (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 270 25 N m (200 18 lb.ft.). 3. Use tool group (A) and a press to install the bearing in support (4). 4. Use tool group (A) to install the seal in the support. Make sure the lip of the seal is toward the outside as shown. Put clean grease on the lip of the seal. 5. Fasten a hoist and put support (4) in position on the trunnion. 6. Install washer (5) and plate (6) on the end of the trunnion. Tighten the bolts that hold plate (6) to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb.ft.).7. Install washer (7) in the support. 8. Install cover (8) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 270 25 N m (200 18 lb.ft.).end by:a) install rear axle housing
