3. Disconnect two yokes (1) from the suspension bar. 4. Disconnect two hoses (2) from each lift cylinder. Cap or plug, immediately5. Attach a strap, and a suitable lifting device, to rotor lift cylinders (3).6. Remove two bolts (4) and washers from upper and lower cotter pins (5). Remove the cotter pins.7. Remove upper and lower cylinder pins (6).8. Remove both lift cylinders. 9. Attach a strap, and a suitable lifting device, to hood tilt cylinder (7).10. Remove bolt (8) from the rod end of the cylinder. Secure the cylinder away from the hood. 11. Disconnect two hoses (9) at the rotor door cylinder. Cap or plug, immediately. Reposition the hoses to clear the rotor hood. 12. Disconnect two electrical connectors (10). Reposition the harness. 13. Attach a chain, and a suitable lifting device, to each chain case (11). The weight a chain case is approximately 350 kg (770 lb).14. Remove four bolts (12), nuts, and washers from each mounting plate (13). 15. With the chain cases supported, drive the machine forward until main frame (14) clears mounting plates (13).16. Lower the chain cases and remove the lifting device and chains.17. Attach a pulling device to the skid and pull the rotor drive assembly out from the side.18. For installation of the rotor drive assembly, reverse the removal steps.19. Connect the rotor drive shaft.20. Lower the rotor onto a skid.Remove And Install Drive Chain
1. Drain chain case oil into a suitable container.2. Remove four bolts (1) and washers; and remove cover (2). Inspect the cover gasket for wear or damage and replace, if necessary. 3. Remove eight bolts (3) and washers and remove cover (4). Inspect the cover gasket for wear or damage and replace, if necessary. 4. Remove eight bolts (5) from each of three covers (6).5. Remove three covers (6). Inspect each of the cover gaskets for wear or damage and replace, if necessary. 6. Use chain adjuster (7) to release all the chain tension. 7. Rotate the rotor by hand (engine off) until the chain master link is visible through the inside access hole.8. Remove master link (8). 9. Attach a lifting device to chain (9) and lift the chain through the top hole in the chain case.10. For installation of the drive chain, reverse the removal steps.11. Start By:a. remove the rotor drive chain1. Lower the rotor to the ground.2. Drain the oil from the chain case. 3. Place the rotor hood in the service tilt position and raise rear door (1). Secure the rear door with door lock (2). 4. Remove rotor ten bolts and end ring (3). 5. Remove four bolts (4) and nuts and remove shield assembly (5).6. Remove the retainers (not shown) from the housing. The retainers may come out with the shield. 7. Securely support spacer tube (6) and remove eight bolts (7) and washers. 8.
