( 1 ) Tack weld the steel plate to the top plate of the hydraulic jack.Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.

Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.
Note: The rear crankcase guard may contain a significant amount of rock, dirt, liquids and debris, which will result in significant additional weight.
Position Tooling (A) and suitable cribbing in order to support rear crankcase guard (2) on the opposite end of the hinged end. The weight of rear crankcase guard (2) is approximately 256 kg (564 lb).
Remove bolts (1). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to partially lower rear crankcase guard (2) .

Remove pin (3) (not shown) in order to disconnect guard cylinder (4) from rear crankcase guard (2) .

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to raise rear crankcase guard (2) into the raised position.
Install one bolt (1). Repeat this step on the opposite side of the machine.

Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.
Reposition Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to support the entire rear crankcase guard (2) .
Remove bolts (3). Repeat this step on the opposite side of the machine.
Remove bolt (1). Repeat this step on the opposite side of the machine.
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to carefully lower rear crankcase guard (2) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (6). Remove pin (5). Remove guard cylinder (4) .Installation Procedure
Install rear crankcase guard (2) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
