FUEL FILTERS NEED TO BE INSTALLED IN SCREED BURNER FUEL LINES ON CERTAIN AP-1200 ASPHALT PAVERS, 8226, PI3214 U-22 priority If Service Letter dated November 30, 1986 (PI3196), has not already been implemented, it would be advantageous to implement that Program and this Program at the same time. Problem
The screed burner spray nozzles can become plugged with contaminates in the fuel. Fuel filters should be installed at the fuel shutoff valves and in-line at each spray nozzle.

Action Required
Install the new parts using the procedure included in the kit. WARRANTY ALLOWANCES (SEE ILLUSTRATION) This is a 1 - hour job.
