Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Note: Perform the Manual Displacement Control Neutral - Adjust before conducting the Neutral Start Switch - Adjust.
Be sure that the parking brake is applied. Be sure that the propel control lever is in neutral.
In order to hold the front frame and the rear frame rigid, install the steering frame lock pin.
Tilt the platform in order to gain access to the propel pumps.Note: The neutral start switch is located on the drum propel pump on the CS/CP-433C. The neutral start switch is located on the axle propel pump on the CS-431C.

(1) Neutral start switch. (2) Plug.
Remove plug (2). Loosen the allen head screw that is located under plug (2) .
Remove the neutral start switch (1). The cam that contacts the neutral start switch is accessed through the hole. The notch for the neutral start switch is located on the cam.
Center the notch of the cam in the hole.
Install the neutral start switch (1). Use the neutral start switch to hold the cam in place.
Tighten the allen head screw in order to lock the cam in place.
Install plug (2) .
Remove all of the tooling. Remove the steering frame lock pin.
Lower the platform. Secure the platform.
Check the operation of the neutral start switch.Note: The machine should start only when the propel lever is in the NEUTRAL position.
