This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4190" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The vibratory motor coupling hub splines may wear prematurely due to improper hardness on certain CS-533C, CP-563C, and CS-563C Compactors. Oil samples taken from the drum support gearbox may show higher than normal iron counts if the vib coupling hub splines are not heat treated and are wearing prematurley.

1 - 6R1277 HUB-SPLINEAction Required
Remove the existing 6R1277 Hub Spline and replace it with a new 6R1277 Hub Spline. The vibratory motor and drum support gearbox cover can be removed as one assembly. Remove the 12 bolts from the drum support gearbox cover and pull the vibratory motor and gearbox cover away from the support housing to gain access to the coupling. Ref. D&A KENR2663
