Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

Disconnect hose assembly (1). Disconnect hoses (2) and (5). Remove bolts (4) from water temperature regulator housing (3) .

Rotate water temperature regulator housing (3) toward the front of the machine and disconnect harness assembly (6). Remove water temperature regulator housing (3) .

Remove bolts (7) and remove the outer cover and the gasket from water temperature regulator housing (3) .

Remove water temperature regulators (8) and lip seals (9) .Installation Procedure

Install lip seals (9) and water temperature regulators (8). Use Tooling (A) in order to install lip seals (9) .

Install the outer cover and a new gasket onto water temperature regulator housing (3) and install bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 50 9 N m (37 7 lb ft).

Rotate water temperature regulator housing (3) toward the front of the machine and connect harness assembly (6). Install water temperature regulator housing (3). Install bolts (4) that hold water temperature regulator housing (3).
Connect hose assembly (1). Connect hoses (2) and (5).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
