Disconnect the two sure-seal connectors (7) from the service brake control group.
Pull the harness assembly (2) and the sure-seal connectors (7) to the inside of the cab.

View of the throttle pedal (8) Throttle position sensor
Remove the throttle position sensor (8) with the wiring harness. Discard throttle position sensor (8) with the wiring harness.

Install 9EP8631 Throttle Pedal Boss (9) in the mounting for the throttle position sensor.

Install 7X-7662 Rod End (10) on 9EP8631 Throttle Pedal Boss (9) .

Install throttle control box (13) to the outer side of the cab. Refer to Illustration 7.

Install 9EP8633 Throttle Linkage Lever (16) to the shaft of 9EP8637 Throttle Control Box (12) .
Install 9EP8634 Rod End (17) to 9EP8633 Throttle Linkage Lever (16) .
Install 9EP8635 Bracket (20) into the cab by using 8T-5391 Bolt (21) and 8T-4224 Hard Washer (22) .
Install throttle pedal (5) in position in the cab.
Install the harness assembly and the sure-seal connectors that were removed in Step 6.
Install 9EP9228 Harness Assembly (23). Secure existing harness assembly (14) to 9EP8635 Bracket (20) by using three 1DE0065 Cable Straps (24) .
Install 125-0380 Hex Nut (18) and 5C-7261 Nut (26) on 9EP8632 Throttle Linkage Rod (25) .
Install 9EP8632 Throttle Linkage Rod (25) between 9EP8634 Rod End (17) and 7X-7662 Rod End (10). Ensure that the throttle linkage rod passes under 9EP8635 Bracket (20) .
Adjust the throttle linkage rod in order to achieve the maximum engine speed.
Tighten 125-0380 Hex Nut (18) and 5C-7261 Nut (26) on 9EP8632 Throttle Linkage Rod (25) .
Install 9EP9719 Cover (15) .
Install the cover for the brake pressure gauge, if the cover was removed in Step 2.
Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and
